A divine paradox and chocolatey treats

Once upon a time, in a land where logic and reason took an extended vacation, there was a divine being called Jesus — the Son of Himself, born without consent to the innocent Virgin Mary. His mission? To teach humanity how to live sin-free lives, despite the inherent paradox of his sinless existence.

You see, Jesus was God in human form, which meant that anything he did, by definition, could not be a sin. If one day he decided to go on a killing spree, that would simply be the will of God, and thus not sinful. Quite the loophole, if you ask me!

But let’s not dwell on that. Instead, let’s focus on the fact that every human, since the dawn of time, has been born sinful. And God, being the omnipotent and omniscient being that He is, can do anything — well, almost anything. He just can’t forgive sins without a sacrifice, because, you know, He really loves blood and eternal punishment.

But don’t worry! God loves you so much that He devised a clever plan: He would sacrifice Himself by allowing Jesus, who was actually God, to die a permanent, final death and face eternal separation from… well, Himself.

So Jesus, being the obedient Son, agreed to this self-sacrifice, and God carried out the execution. But then, in a shocking turn of events, Jesus rose from the dead after a mere three-day nap. It seems that eternal separation wasn’t really on the agenda after all.

This Easter, as you bite the ears off chocolate bunnies and hunt for colorfully painted eggs, take a moment to remember the importance of this bizarre tale: the time when God played a game of divine Twister, sacrificing Himself to Himself only to hit the snooze button and rise again, just in time for a scrumptious Easter brunch. Happy Easter, everyone!
